It's like having two 27" 16:9 Quad HD displays side by side. But then I am not sure what to choose and if there are no such problems with other monitors.Philips Brilliance 49 Inch SuperWide Curved LCD Monitor, 499P9Hģ2:9 SuperWide screen designed to replace multiscreen setups 32:9 SuperWide 49" screen with 5120 x 1440 resolution is designed to replace multiscreen setups for a massive wide view. Have anyone stumbled upon such issues and are there any solutions for those? Maybe it is connected with matrix type? Unfortunately both of them are quite serious as they bring an eyestrain and I see no option other than replacing this monitor with some another model. Trying to overcome this issue I reduced RGB values but now it looks like I lost some color range (everything became gray). The problem is that even brightness set to 0 can be too intense. I suppose this is related to hdr400 standard that is not quite an hdr but just a requirement for more intense light. Another issue is very intense backlight that seems to be unchangeable. I have my old AOC screen that has everything set to 50% and warm color temperature and its 255 0 0 is around. I installed icc profile from CD that comes together with the monitor, but it didn't help too. I tried to tweak settings and reduce red but then it gets reduced not only from red but from all elements, so no luck. It is not noticeable on white background but any red element (like youtube or reddit logo) can drill a hole in my eyes. Its main issue is oversaturated red color (while green seems to be just a bit oversaturated and blue is ok). ![]() Hi, a few days ago I bought ultrawide 32:9 screen Philips 498p9.
